Overview
The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care within the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking an EMS Program Faculty member to join its EMT Hybrid and Accelerated Education team. Reporting to the EMT Program Director, this position delivers high-quality classroom, laboratory, and scenario-based instruction while supporting student success in one of the nation's leading EMS education programs. Salary range: $6,203.1–$12,705.48 monthly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom teaching, skills instruction and assessment, academic coaching, remediation, curriculum development, learner evaluation, and participation in educational research and program improvement.
- Collaborate with faculty, medical directors, and administrative staff to ensure program excellence and support outreach activities that promote the EMT program.
- Be available on-site as required by instructional needs, including occasional evenings and weekends; assignment between Hybrid and Accelerated course formats may vary based on program needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in EMS education and a commitment to excellence in EMS education.
- Ability to collaborate with faculty, medical directors, and administrative staff; student advocacy.
- Willingness to be on-site as needed for instructional needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
