EstimatorThe Estimator role is critical for the success of a restoration company, as they are responsible for creating estimates in Xactimate utilizing the program guidelines and IICRC standards. They must be detailed oriented and understand commercial and insurance restoration industry. Having a basic construction background which includes basic understanding of building materials, flooring and other materials affected by wind, water, fire, smoke and other property damage causes will assist in being successful in this position.

Xactimate experience is an essential requirement of this job. If you do not have experience with this software, you will not be considered for this position. Additionally, we require candidates to demonstrate knowledge of the software as a part of the candidate screening process.Benefits include health insurance, opportunity for advancement, paid time off, training & development, free food & snacks, free uniforms, parental leave, 401(k), 401(k) matching, bonus based on performance, company parties, competitive salary, dental insurance, and employee discounts.Duties and responsibilities include inspecting and scoping jobs onsite, documenting loss with clear and descriptive job photos, writing mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software, communicating conversations and key information on the job using the notes feature in required software, estimating using carrier audit standards and managing the estimate based on feedback from client and customer, communicating with project manager/lead tech to ensure all required documentation is complete, recording of drying using mobile software, determining labor and equipment costs, preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing, communicating with insurance companies and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acting as a liaison, managing all estimate documents and assessing project risks, reviewing quotes and estimates with the construction project team, and addressing estimate exceptions in a timely manner.Physical demands and working conditions include moving up to 70 pounds often, standing and walking for extended periods of time, lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching, expressing or exchanging ideas with others and receiving and acting on detailed information given, and being exposed to various inside and outside working conditions.Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year.
