Technical EMR Integration ArchitectPrimary Responsibilities:Serve as a Technical EMR Integration Architect for the software platformBuild/maintain documentation aligning to integration with specific EMR Partner, Integrator, or Health SystemTechnical SME for integration with specific EMR Partner, Integrator, or Health SystemBuild/maintain generic testing document for our product to insure all scenarios in an integration pass minimum standardsMap existing API specifications to an EMR Partner or Integrator existing API for standard HL7 Implementation GuidesSME for HL7/FHIR/DaVinci specification /Implementation GuidesBuild/maintain context diagrams for each integration partner that describe how system interactions are triggeredManage issues and questions posed by EMR Partner, Integrator, or Health System as part of the implementation cycle in timely mannerSupport re-usability, elimination of wasteful activities, and adherence to industry standardsAllocate time, on average:50% of the time working with other external teams on architecture and implementation of a system-to-system integration25% of the time working with the team ensuring the new designs follows the established architectural vision25% investigate technology choices or enhancements to the software platform, document solutions, and evangelize new architectural patterns across all development teamsWork typical on-shore hours (9am-5pm ET) with occasional meetings earlier or later to support other time zones as neededOccasionally work with business teams to understand the value platform brings to our customersRequired Qualifications:Hands-on experience with FHIR implementation of a client or server application (4-6 years)Hands-on experience implementing SMART on FHIR application (2-4 years)Hands-on experience implementing the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Framework (and any other complementing RFCs) as a server side (2-4 years)Technical systems architecture documentation using standardized notation (for example UML) (6-8 years)Leading team in the capacity of Technical Integration Architect (4-6 years)Higher education in Engineering or Computer ScienceExperience working on an Agile software delivery team (6+ years)Experience protecting clinical data covered by HIPAA (6+ years)Familiar with clinical data coding systems and domains CPT, ICD, LOINC, etc.Required Skills:Hands-on experience with FHIR implementation of a client or server application (4-6 years)Hands-on experience implementing SMART on FHIR application (2-4 years)Hands-on experience implementing the OAuth 2.
