Argo is partnering with a leading law firm to identify an Employment Litigation Associate for its San Jose, California office. This is a hybrid position.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Employment Litigation Associate will represent employers in employment litigation matters and provide strategic counseling on workplace issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Defend employers in single-plaintiff and class/collective employment litigation
- Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and wrongful termination claims
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and before administrative agencies
- Provide day-to-day counseling on employment policies, handbooks, and compliance
- Draft motions, briefs, and discovery responses
QUALIFICATIONS
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of defense-side employment litigation and counseling experience
- California bar admission required
- Strong advocacy, writing, and client counseling skills
- Ability to manage complex caseloads independently
COMPENSATION
$200,000 - $240,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
