Employment Counselor/Direct Support ProfessionalThis job is based in Elk Grove/Sacramento, CA and requires daily travel to and around the Elk Grove/Sacramento area.Blue Heron Programs is a community-based behavioral employment program that supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our Employment Counselors (ECs) work closely with Program Managers (PMs) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBAs develop individualized behavioral plans that ECs can implement throughout their daily support, using positive strategies tailored to each participant's goals.Employment Counselor/Direct Support Professional Job Summary:As an Employment Counselor, you will work with adults with developmental disabilities to build the skills necessary to gain and maintain competitive integrated employment.
