The Sentinel Firm, APC is a rapidly expanding 20 attorney plaintiff-side employment law firm based in Los Angeles, focused on representing employees in high-impact wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters. We are seeking a 0–5 year Associate Attorney to join our Wage & Hour Class Action Department.

Associates are trained to manage cases under senior attorney supervision and are encouraged to take an active role in all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities
As a Class Action Associate, you will:
- Represent employees in wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters, including claims involving unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, and unreimbursed business expenses
- Draft and argue motions and other substantive pleadings
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in case strategy and client advocacy
- Appear in court and actively litigate matters
- Work on complex cases involving regional, national, and Fortune 500 employers
This role offers significant exposure to both state and federal plaintiff-side class action litigation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing (or awaiting admission)
- 0–4 years of experience in employment law, wage and hour, class action, or PAGA matters preferred. (Recently barred attorneys with relevant internships or clerkships are encouraged to apply)
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle increasing responsibility
We will consider the possibility of remote work for those that live outside of the greater LA area.
- Salary Range: $115,000 – $195,000 annually, commensurate with experience
