Our success is powered by the people behind every meal, every departure, and every delivery. At SkyChefs, we believe great workplaces don't happen by accident. They are built through connection, collaboration, listening, and a genuine commitment to helping people succeed. That's where you come in.
We're looking for an Employee Experience Manager who is passionate about people and excited to create an environment where employees feel welcomed, valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work. If you're energized by building relationships, solving problems, influencing leaders, and turning employee feedback into meaningful action, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact every single day.
This is more than an HR role. It's a chance to help shape the employee journey from day one and play a key role in building a workplace people are proud to be part of.
What You'll Do
As the Employee Experience Manager, you'll be the bridge between employees and leadership, ensuring every voice is heard and every experience matters.
You will:
- Partner closely with operational leaders and corporate partners to strengthen the employee experience across the facility.
- Spend time where it matters most, on the floor, building relationships, listening to employees, understanding challenges, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Gather employee feedback through focus groups, surveys, interviews, and other engagement initiatives.
- Analyze trends and identify root causes behind employee concerns, turnover, and engagement challenges.
- Transform employee feedback into practical recommendations and action plans that improve retention, engagement, and workplace culture.
- Lead and support the facility's Buddy Program, helping new hires build meaningful connections and a strong foundation for success.
- Meet regularly with new employees to discuss their onboarding experience, answer questions, address concerns, and ensure they feel supported throughout their transition.
- Facilitate weekly discussions with leaders to review employee feedback, onboarding insights, engagement results, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain and communicate engagement metrics, retention trends, and key workforce insights to leadership.
- Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for employees throughout their journey at SkyChefs.
- Help foster a workplace culture where teamwork, respect, inclusion, recognition, and open communication thrive.
- Support career growth, development opportunities, and internal mobility initiatives that help employees build long-term careers with SkyChefs.
Training & Development
Employee experience starts with learning and growth. In this role, you'll also serve as a key training resource for the facility by:
- Facilitating weekly new hire orientation sessions.
- Delivering engaging classroom and instructor-led training for employees and leaders.
- Supporting the rollout of new programs, processes, policies, and operational initiatives.
- Tracking training completion and supporting ongoing employee development efforts.
- Adapting training schedules and delivery methods to meet the needs of a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.
What Makes You Successful
You genuinely enjoy working with people and understand that small improvements can make a big difference in someone's experience at work.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Experience in a people-focused role such as Human Resources, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Training, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or Operations Support.
- 1-3 years of experience utilizing employee feedback, root cause analysis, focus groups, surveys, or workforce data to improve employee retention and engagement.
- The ability to connect with people at all levels, from frontline employees to senior leaders.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Experience influencing leaders and driving positive workplace change through collaboration.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience working in a metrics-driven HR or employee experience environment is highly preferred.
