As expectations from regulators, clients, and stakeholders continue to evolve, strong controls are essential to how we operate and grow. The Employee Experience Control Management Team identifies, assesses, and manages risks across Bloomberg's Employee Experience function.

This includes the systems, tools, processes, and technologies that help our employees work securely, productively, and seamlessly across global offices and remote environments. As Employee Experience Control Manager, you will evaluate operational processes, identify key risks and control gaps, drive remediation, and strengthen the overall control environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to Employee Experience stakeholders and play a central role in advancing Bloomberg's Risk Framework.We'll trust you to:Partner with Employee Experience teams to identify, assess, and mitigate operational, technology, and process risksDesign and refine controls through risk and control libraries, process mapping, and control enhancement activitiesEvaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls, including test planning, fieldwork, stakeholder management, and reportingChallenge and oversee risk responses, issue remediation, risk acceptance, and closure trackingStrengthen policies, procedures, documentation, and control practices through continuous improvementCollaborate across lines of defense on governance, compliance risk assessments, internal controls, and assurance activitiesDeliver clear, risk-based reporting to senior management on control trends, emerging risks, remediation priorities, and risk maturityYou'll need to have:8+ years of experience in risk management, audit, internal controls, or a related control functionBachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related disciplineExperience working in a first or second line of defense roleStrong knowledge of risk management frameworks, including RCSA, internal controls design, IT general controls, and operational riskExperience using GRC tools to manage risk and control taxonomies, risk events, issues, and workflowsStrong analytical, research, problem-solving, and judgment skillsAbility to synthesize complex information into actionable insightsExcellent stakeholder management, influencing, communication, and presentation skillsTrack record of improving processes, documentation, and control practicesAbility to operate independently in ambiguous, high-impact environmentsWe'd love to see:A proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindsetStrong time management and ability to deliver against deadlinesComfort working in a fast-paced, highly visible roleEnthusiasm for improving the employee experience while strengthening risk and control disciplineDoes this sound like you?
