Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Associate

Level: Mid-Level Associate | 4–6 Years' Experience

Sonder Consultants is working with a leading international law firm seeking a mid-level associate to join its highly regarded Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice.

This is an opportunity to work with high-growth companies and leading investors across the full company lifecycle, from formation and early-stage financings through growth, strategic transactions and exit.

The Role

The successful candidate will advise startups, emerging growth companies and investors on matters including:

• Seed and venture capital financings
• Company formation and growth
• NVCA financing transactions
• Public offerings
• M&A transactions
• Strategic corporate matters

The practice works extensively across the technology, life sciences and consumer sectors.

The Candidate

Candidates should have approximately 4–6 years of significant ECVC experience , ideally gained within a leading corporate practice.

Strong experience representing startups and emerging companies is required, including venture financings using NVCA documentation. Candidates should also have some exposure to domestic M&A transactions involving startups and investors.

The ideal candidate will combine excellent technical skills with commercial awareness, strong client management capabilities and an interest in working with innovative, high-growth businesses.
