Job Description
One of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP – an international law firm – is seeking an ECVC associate to join its expanding ECVC group in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Palo Alto. The practice focuses on representing innovative companies throughout their lifecycle (business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions) as well as funds that invest in them. Clients range from newly-formed startups to multi‑billion dollar technology market leaders. Candidates must have at least two years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm, strong written and verbal communication skills, stellar academic credentials and references, and quantitative and Excel skills are preferred. Responsibilities
- Represent innovative companies throughout their lifecycle: business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Represent funds that invest in these companies.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience, preferably at a comparable law firm.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Stellar academic credentials and references.
- Quantitative and Excel skills are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation range: $235,000 to $260,000 annually (dependent on qualifications and experience).
