Advanced Veterinary Care is looking for a full‑time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Salt Lake City, UT. Offering a $50K sign‑on bonus and relocation if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. Assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high‑quality execution of care. Perform surgeries, deliver critical care, and maintain an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an annual PROSAL full‑time range starting at $180 000 per year. The actual salary offered will be carefully considered with a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Your Experience & Skills

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License: active and in good standing for the state of intended employment; obtained prior to start date
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small‑animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended
