Heart of Texas, a Thrive Pet Healthcare community, is hiring a full‑time Emergency Veterinarian in Round Rock, TX.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients in a 24/7 environment.
- Assess, diagnose, develop and oversee treatment plans, and perform surgeries as needed.
- Deliver critical care and maintain a high standard of service for every patient.
- Collaborate closely with technicians, specialists, and other team members.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License that is active, in good standing, and obtained prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.
- Experience in emergency medicine or completion of a small‑animal rotating or emergency internship is highly recommended.
Compensation
PROSAL full‑time range starting at $180,000 per year. Salary will be negotiated based on credentials, experience, and location.
