Multiple Openings for Associate Veterinarian Emergency Clinicians – BluePearl Vet, LLC – Irvine, CA
Provide emergency healthcare treatment to animals. Diagnose and treat animals with illnesses and injuries, including dressing wounds, performing surgical operations, prescribing medications, and administering appropriate treatments. Operate medical equipment such as CT‑scan and urinalysis. Write prescriptions for sick animals. Conduct research on animal diseases, including prevention and treatment. Complete appropriate documentation and request referrals from other specialists as needed. Serve as a hospital leader in setting a pleasant, engaging, and professional work environment. Educate animal owners on animal behavior. Research how to protect humans from infection by animal diseases. Participate in hospital medical meetings and professional forums.
Travel
Domestic travel for continuing education is optional. May be asked to cover shifts for other Veterinarians at BluePearl hospitals located within the same MSA.
Salary
$220,000 to $240,000 per year . Detailed benefits information available on the Culture & Benefits tab.
Education
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (foreign equivalent accepted).
Skills & Requirements
- California veterinary license
- One year of experience as an Emergency Veterinarian, Associate Veterinarian, Veterinarian Specialist – Emergency, or Emergency Clinician.
- Employment contingent on passing background and reference check.
Additional Information
All experience, skills, and education may be gained concurrently. May be eligible to earn certain production as determined in accordance with company policy.
