Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our Emergency & Critical Care team.
This role is ideal for a doctor who is comfortable managing emergency cases independently, values teamwork, and wants to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Manage outpatient and hospitalized emergency cases
- Perform emergency procedures, including centeses, CPR, wound repair, and stabilization
- Interpret diagnostics, including laboratory work, radiographs, and point-of-care ultrasound (AFAST/TFAST)
- Collaborate with specialists and nursing staff on case management
- Communicate effectively with clients and referring to veterinarians
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maryland
- Emergency medicine experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Full-time position
- Day, swing, and overnight opportunities available
