The Role

  • Emergency and urgent care position
  • Perform emergency triage, stabilisation, and treatment planning
  • Manage medical and surgical emergency cases
  • Perform emergency surgery within your level of experience
  • Oversee inpatient and post-operative patient care
  • Utilise advanced diagnostics including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipment
  • Deliver compassionate and effective client communication during emergency situations
  • Collaborate closely with licensed technicians and support staff
  • Contribute to a positive teaching environment through mentorship and clinical collaboration

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
  • Eligible for Michigan veterinary licensure
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Experience or confidence in emergency triage, stabilisation, anaesthesia, and inpatient management
  • Previous emergency surgical experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
