Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department on a rotating schedule of day and swing shifts.
  • Provide acute care to veterinary patients, collaborate with board‑certified specialists, and participate in critical care and surgery as needed.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment (CT, ultrasound, radiology, surgical, and endoscopic tools).
  • Mentor interns and support the educational mission of the hospital.

Qualifications

  • DVM/AVM with willingness to deliver high‑quality emergency care.
  • Experience in emergency practice preferred; newer graduates and generalists with a passion for emergency medicine encouraged.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a compact, highly trained ER team.
