Hillside Veterinary Clinic, part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community, is seeking a full‑time Emergency Veterinarian to provide acute care to dogs and cats in the greater Dallas area.

Your work will include performing surgeries, delivering critical care, and maintaining an exceptional standard of service for every patient who enters our emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases.
- Assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and partner closely with technicians to ensure high‑quality execution of care.
- Perform surgeries and deliver critical care in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License:
- Active and in good standing for the state of intended employment.
- Obtained prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
- Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships highly recommended.
Compensation
Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full‑time range starting at $170,000 per year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
