Our client is looking to hire a Traveling Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to provide high-quality care for cats and dogs while rotating across multiple community-rooted hospitals throughout Ohio. The role is ideal for a veterinarian seeking variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work within a network of established practices.


Role Description and Responsibilities


This role encompasses the full scope of General Practice responsibilities, providing preventative, medical, and surgical care for cats and dogs across multiple hospital locations. As a Traveling Veterinarian, you will rotate across high-performing, community-rooted hospitals throughout Ohio, performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating a broad range of medical conditions, developing treatment plans, performing routine surgical procedures, and building lasting relationships with clients through clear communication and high-quality patient care. You will enjoy a high level of clinical autonomy with no rigid protocols or unnecessary oversight, allowing you to make the right decisions for your patients while being supported by a collaborative network. You can choose the schedule that best fits your lifestyle, with either a two weeks on/two weeks off rotation averaging 20 hours per week or a three weeks on/one week off rotation for those who prefer longer rotations. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian.


Practice Details


The hospitals are equipped with modern diagnostics and treatment capabilities, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Facilities will vary by hospital. The role offers true flexibility with no rigid FTE requirements, while all travel logistics are handled for you. You will work within strong clinical environments across every hospital, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements



  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)

  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in

  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
