Virginia Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (VVSE) is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian (DVM) to join our dedicated emergency team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This role is ideal for veterinarians who thrive in fast-paced emergency settings and are passionate about providing high-level care during critical moments.

About Our Hospital

VVSE provides 24/7/365 emergency veterinary services. Our hospital is equipped to support advanced diagnostics, surgical intervention, and critical patient management, allowing our emergency clinicians to practice at the top of their license.

  • Complete imaging diagnostics: digital radiography, ultrasound and CT
  • Multiple fully equipped surgical suites with electrocautery, ligasure, and ventilator support
  • Comprehensive in-house bloodwork, urinalysis, clotting times, and electrolyte analysis
  • Blood product access for transfusions
  • Multiple isolation suites
  • Integrated EMR and digital treatment sheet

We are seeking an Emergency Veterinarian who:

  • Holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited institution
