We are working on behalf of a well established, high volume emergency and general practice hospital in Sacramento, CA that is looking to welcome an Emergency and Primary Care Veterinarian to its team.
This is a 24 hour hospital operating out of a 25,000 square foot, state of the art facility with a dedicated ICU, two surgical suites, two ultrasound units, a spacious treatment area, and sixteen exam rooms. The team has access to radiologist support for daily ultrasounds and a regularly scheduled cardiologist, along with a wider network of specialists.
This role offers a hybrid schedule split between emergency and primary care shifts, typically three to four shifts per week, giving you variety while maintaining a manageable caseload.

About You:
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain it
- Committed to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Comfortable working a hybrid schedule across emergency and primary care shifts
- A collaborative team player who enjoys teaching and learning from colleagues
