Position

Emergency Veterinarian – Thrive Albuquerque.

Overview

Provide urgent care for sick and injured pets on an emergency basis, including triage, diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and critical care. Oversee technicians and collaborate with specialists.

Responsibilities

• Care for emergency patients and manage hospitalized cases.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans.
• Oversee technicians carrying out treatment plans.
• Perform surgeries, provide critical care, and maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
• Active state Veterinary Board license in the state of employment, obtained prior to start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA license eligibility.
• Experience in emergency medicine, small animal rotation or internship strongly recommended.
