Emergency Veterinarian – Thrive Albuquerque.
Overview
Provide urgent care for sick and injured pets on an emergency basis, including triage, diagnosis, treatment, surgery, and critical care. Oversee technicians and collaborate with specialists.
Responsibilities
- Care for emergency patients and manage hospitalized cases.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans.
- Oversee technicians carrying out treatment plans.
- Perform surgeries, provide critical care, and maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent.
- Active state Veterinary Board license in the state of employment, obtained prior to start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA license eligibility.
- Experience in emergency medicine, small animal rotation or internship strongly recommended.
