The Emergency Room RN will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in emergency settings.

What You'll Do
- Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
- Identify deviations from normal on routine lab diagnostic tests and reassess patients throughout hospitalization.
- Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
- Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
- Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
- Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and accurately document in the EMR.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate and perform all necessary procedures correctly.
- Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
- Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
Requirements
Education:- Associate's Degree (ADN) required
- Experienced level required
- Current RN License in Oregon
