The Staff Pad has partnered with a critical access hospital in Alturas, CA for Registered Nurses in their Emergency Department. This role is ideal for experienced ER nurses who thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment and are passionate about delivering compassionate, high‑quality care. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team to support patients through urgent and emergent situations. Full‑time positions include comprehensive benefits, while per diem roles offer flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and closely monitor patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by providers
- Accurately document patient care and clinical outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and changing priorities
- Contribute to a positive, team‑focused environment
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience (required)
- Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Adaptable, dependable, and team‑oriented
