Emergency Room RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in an emergency department setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on managing illness or injury, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, medication administration, and managing health conditions.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety and quality standards, and engage in professional development.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license required.
• Experience in emergency or acute care preferred, with at least 2 years of experience for advanced roles.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
