What You'll Do
- Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
- Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
- Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
- Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and agencies.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) according to policy and procedure.
- Utilize a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate.
- Accurately calculate and administer medications.
- Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
- Perform all necessary procedures correctly and initiate measures in emergency situations.
Requirements
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Experience:
- Experienced level required
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current RN License in Oregon
