Emergency Room Nurse

Shift: Nights, 3x12

Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Schedule: 36 hours/week

Patient Ratio: 1:4

Weekends: Every other weekend

Weekend Requirement: Approximately 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Floating: Required

Charting System: Epic

Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks

PAY DETAILS:

Gross Weekly: $2100 - $2260

Required Experience

• Prior urban Level I Trauma Emergency Department experience is required.
• At least 1 year of ER RN experience required per the position details.
• Experience with a teaching hospital is preferred.
• First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS

Strongly Preferred

• TNCC
• CPI

Licensure

• Active Illinois RN license must be in hand at the time of submission.
• Pending Illinois license is not accepted.
• Current Nursys report pulled within the last 2 weeks should be attached with submission.
• Candidates with license hits are not accepted.

Scheduling Requirements

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required based on facility needs

RTO Requirements

• RTO is restricted and must be disclosed at submission.
• Facility compliance notes specify no more than 3 RTO days.
• No RTO during the first or last week of the contract.
