We’re looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Worcester, MA. The right RN should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. RNs should be comfortable caring for patients in a fast‑paced, urgent, and emergency environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clean and bandage wounds
- Provide IV therapy
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies
- Provide basic bedside care
- Document medical history, check allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being
Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 20 lb routinely and occasionally up to 50 lb.
Required qualifications and certifications:
- 1.5 years of acute care nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
