Emergency Room - ER RN - Travel Nurse
We’re looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Dallas, TX. The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
- Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
- Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
- Clean and bandage wounds.
- Provide IV therapy.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
- Provide basic bedside care.
Physical & Clinical requirements
- Stand and walk for long periods of time; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
- Lift up to 20 lb routinely; may lift up to 50 lb when moving or lifting patients.
- Cope with a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Requirements
- ALCS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH certifications.
- 1 year of recent acute care experience.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
