Join Our Emergency Response Team
Foster Safety LLC is seeking dependable, safety-focused Emergency Response Technicians to support industrial facilities. This position combines emergency response, fire prevention, equipment inspections, and daily safety activities to help protect personnel, property, and operations.
We are looking for professionals who remain calm under pressure, work well with others, and take pride in maintaining operational readiness.
Responsibilities
* Respond to fire, medical, hazardous materials, and rescue incidents within your training, certification, and assigned duties.
* Perform hot-work and cold-work fire watch, including required documentation.
* Inspect fire extinguishers, emergency exits, emergency lighting, and other assigned fire and life safety equipment.
* Conduct equipment checks and maintain response apparatus, PPE, SCBA, and emergency supplies.
* Complete site hazard assessments, safety observations, and daily activity reports.
* Assist with spill mitigation, decontamination, and confined space standby or rescue operations as qualified.
* Participate in training, drills, physical readiness activities, and competency evaluations.
* Follow Foster Safety procedures, client requirements, and incident command direction.
* Communicate hazards, equipment deficiencies, and response information promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
* Relevant fire, EMS, industrial safety, or emergency response experience.
* Ability to complete required onboarding, training, and competency evaluations.
* Ability to perform essential job duties, including wearing PPE and respiratory protection, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
* Ability to meet applicable site access and pre-employment requirements.
Preferred Certifications
* Firefighter I/II through IFSAC, Pro Board, or TCFP; or industrial firefighter training aligned with NFPA 1081.
* Hazardous Materials Technician.
* Current EMR, EMT, or Paramedic certification.
* Current CPR/BLS certification.
* Confined Space Rescue or other technical rescue training.
* ICS/NIMS training.
