Emergency Radiologist

Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology (SVDR) is seeking a Full-Time Remote Emergency Radiologist to join their growing practice. This role involves reading a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging for 14 Illinois hospitals and affiliated clinics, with a focus on emergency radiology. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with referring physicians in a 100% remote setting.

Practice Info

• SVDR has served the Southern Illinois Community for over 40 years.
• Provides diagnostic services to 14 Illinois hospitals, as well as many affiliated clinics and express care centers.
• Operates with an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team (CORE = Center of Radiology Excellence) to coordinate care and clinical contact.
• The clinical team is an extension of our Radiologists, which helps in reducing day-to-day administrative minutiae.
• SVDR continually reviews and improves their radiology service through new clinical initiatives, research, artificial intelligence and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Support our growing practice as a Full-Time Remote Emergency Radiologist.
• Read a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain a desire to work in a collaborative environment with local referring physicians.
• Capable of reading various diagnostic modalities.
• No Mammography or PET CTs/Specialty reading required.

• The salary range for this position is $500,000-$525,000.
• This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

• Evening/2nd Shift.
• Full-time (30+ hrs/week).
• 100% Remote.
• 7on; 7off (26 weeks).
• Shift: 2pm CST-11pm CST or 3pm CST-12pm CST.
• 100% Emergency Radiology.
• No Call.

Requirements

• Experience in ER is preferred.
• Board certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to obtain an Illinois, Indiana & Missouri license is required.
