Emergency Psychiatrist

Northwell Health's Behavioral Health Service Line is seeking a part-time BE/BC Emergency Psychiatrist at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, New York. This role focuses on providing consults to the Emergency Department, with no inpatient or outpatient responsibilities. The position offers a flexible schedule of only 6 shifts per month, including full benefits and PTO, and the opportunity to supervise and teach residents and students.

Responsibilities

• Provide consults to ED.
• Supervise/teach residents and students.

Compensation

• Compensation starts at $140,000 for 6 shifts/month, with up to $7,500 annual bonus.
• Compensation starts at $210,000 for 9 shifts/month, with up to $11,250 annual bonus.

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

• Must be BC/BE.
• Must be licensed in NYS.
• Superior computer and EHR skills.
• Emergency Psychiatry experience required.
