- Diagnostic and patient monitoring (detecting and recognizing acute changes and escalating concerns or critical results).
- Administration and monitoring therapeutic interventions and regimens (starting/maintaining intravenous therapies, administering medication per patients’ rights, preventing falls and skin breakdown, and following safety policies).
- Effective management of rapidly changing situations (identifying, assessing and anticipating needs).
- Organization and work‑rule competencies (prioritizing, coordinating and meeting multiple patient needs in a timely manner).
- Helping role (consistently contribute to a healing environment, providing patient comfort and support for human dignity, serving as a patient advocate and building a therapeutic environment).
- Teaching‑coaching function (assessing and evaluating the patient’s readiness and ability to learn, effectively explaining a patient’s condition and interpretation of his or her illness).
Job Requirements
Required
- Associate of Nursing, Associate’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent, and upon hire.
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Program, and upon hire.
- Registered Nurse: GA, upon hire.
- AHA Basic Life Support (CPR), upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 120 days.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 120 days.
Preferred
- Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent or higher, upon hire.
Pay Range: $48.00 - $48.00 per hour.
