Sanford Health is seeking American BC/BE Emergency Medicine-trained physicians to join their team at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical examinations and provide initial treatment to patients of all age groups, who present to the emergency department with any symptom, illness, injury, or condition.
Compensation
- Annual compensation of $414,000 if you complete required number of shifts for 1.0 FTE.
- A $200,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years (subject to a contractual agreement).

Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour shifts.
- 10 to 11 shifts per month = 1480 hours per year.
Requirements
- H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available.
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine-trained.
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Experience can be demonstrated by a residency log (for recent graduates) or a quality profile from current/past hospitals showing clinical activity for the past 12 months, including procedures performed, morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications.
- Ability to demonstrate active practice in the emergency department in the past 12 months with a census equal to or exceeding 3,000 patient visits annually.
- Successful completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- Applicants not board certified at the time of application but who have completed residency training within the last five years must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training.
