A busy Level II Trauma Center in Webster, Texas, is seeking a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join its experienced Emergency Department team. The facility features dedicated Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments and is an accredited Cycle III Chest Pain Center.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad spectrum of emergency medical conditions
- Manage high-acuity medical and traumatic emergencies
- Perform emergency procedures within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations
- Stabilize critically ill and injured patients
- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based patient care
- Accurately document patient encounters using Meditech
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure
- Current DEA registration
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required
