Emergency Medicine Physician

This locum tenens opportunity seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide clinical coverage at a freestanding emergency department in Virginia. The clinician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries during day and night shifts. No call responsibilities are required for this ongoing assignment starting in December 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site freestanding emergency department
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries across all age groups
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure timely, high-quality patient care throughout each assigned shift
