Emergency Medicine Physician

An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an Emergency Medicine Physician at a 200-bed facility operating as a Level III trauma center in South Carolina. Clinicians will provide on-site care across day, night, and 24-hour shifts, evaluating patients of all ages within a department seeing an annual volume of 55,000. Working alongside a collaborative team of physicians and APPs, you will deliver comprehensive emergency services with no call responsibilities.

• 200-bed facility operates as a Level III trauma center
• On-site Level III trauma center emergency department in South Carolina
• Case load/PPD: 55k annual volume, ~1.5 pph
• Coverage is provided alongside 4 other physicians and 1 APP who assists with triage
• Patient population: All ages

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical coverage during day, night, and 24-hour shifts
• Evaluate and manage emergency department presentations across all age groups
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift
