Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team at Methodist ER – Legacy Trails in San Antonio, Texas.

Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency-trained
Possess strong communication skills
Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
24 hours of physician coverage
12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
1099 position - up to 120 hours available

Qualified Candidates:

Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency-trained

Incentive/Position Details:

24 hours of physician coverage
Physician shift times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
1099 position - up to 120 hours available
Meditech EMR

Methodist ER Legacy Trails and Methodist Healthcare System:

Full-service radiology, laboratory, and telemetry
Benefits of immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical
24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases
Stabilize critical patients and transport, should they need hospitalization, to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio
