Sanford Health is seeking a part-time (0.5 FTE) BC/BE Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join their team in Perham, Minnesota. - Perham Health includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, 98-bed skilled nursing, assisted living facility, and three clinics
- Shared practice concept with 11 Family Medicine physicians, 13 APPs, 1 Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner, 1 Psychologist and 2 Surgeons
- APP works as second provider evenings and weekends
- 7,000+ ED visits annually
- Level IV trauma center with full lab and radiology on-site, plus advanced life support EMS
Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical examinations and provide initial treatment to patients of all age groups, who present to the emergency department with any symptom, illness, injury, or condition

- 12 or 24 hour shifts
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Experience demonstrated by residency log (for recent graduates) or quality profile from current hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the past 12 months (for experienced applicants)
- Ability to demonstrate active practice in the emergency department in the past 12 months with a census equal to or exceeding 3,000 patient visits annually
- Successful completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
