Opportunity:

Physician - Critical Care Medicine


Job Details:

  • Seeking a Critical Care physician to assist with coverage as soon as credentialed

  • Must hold Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine

  • Must possess active ACLS and DEA credentials

  • Must have completed ASA Procedural Sedation Course

  • Day shift coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with night call from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, requiring a 30-minute response time if needed

  • Average of approximately 1 patient admission per night during on-call hours

  • Up to 30 shifts available per month

  • Average daily patient volume of 12

  • Perform common critical care procedures including airway management, central line placement, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion

  • Support staff includes an MD in-house during the day and on call at night, along with a fully staffed ICU with nurses and technicians

  • Facility utilizes Meditech and Patient Keeper electronic health record systems
