Emergency Medicine Physician

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join their growing team in Ruidoso, NM. Practice Info

• Critical Access Hospital located in Ruidoso, NM
• 30-35 patients per day
• Acuity levels include all medicine, limited trauma
• Ortho and Hospitalists admit, family medicine for pediatrics

Compensation

• Salary Range: $350,000 - $370,000 a year
• Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available
• CME allowance
• Fully paid malpractice insurance
• New Mexico Physician Tax Credit: up to $10,000 per year
• New Mexico Health Professional Loan Repayment Program: up to $75,000 per year in loan assistance with a required service commitment

Shift & Schedule

• A full-time position requires 1,728 hours per year OR (12) 12-hour shifts per month
• Peak seasons: Thanksgiving-February for ski season and summer months for race season

Requirements

• Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• Will consider Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board Eligible or Board Certified Providers
• Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest in growing their practice
• Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
• Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
• J-1 visa sponsorship available
