Emergency Medicine Physician

An Emergency Medicine Physician is needed for locum tenens coverage at the facility in North Carolina from December 26 to December 30. The provider will cover night shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, managing an average of 65 patients per day in a 15-bed emergency department. This on-site role requires board certification and relevant life support credentials.

• 15-bed emergency department with an annual inpatient census of approximately 22,250 encounters
• Air and ground transfer support available for immediate patient transfer needs

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens clinical coverage during night shifts
• Evaluate and manage emergency department presentations across all age groups
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the EPIC EMR system throughout each assigned shift

Requirements

• Board certification required
