Sanford Health is seeking BE/BC Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine trained physicians to provide Emergency Room services at Sanford Worthington. - Sanford Worthington is a Level 4 Trauma Certified facility.
- The emergency department averages over 7000 visits per year.
- Join a group of 4 full-time permanent ED Physicians.
- One ER Physician is on at all times, with an APP for 12 hours.
- The emergency department has 5 ER rooms and 1 large trauma bay.
- 24/7 Lab and Imaging services are available.
Responsibilities
- Provide Emergency Room services.
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical examinations.
- Provide initial treatment to patients of all age groups who present to the emergency department with any symptom, illness, injury, or condition.
Compensation
- Annual compensation range (based on 1.0 FTE): $361,524 - $467,854.
- Additional incentives may be offered.
- Actual compensation offers may vary and are determined based on multiple factors including education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice and actual job requirements.

Shift & Schedule
- 146 shifts/year.
- 12-hour shifts, can be 24 hr.
- 12 shifts per month.
Requirements
- BE/BC Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine trained physician.
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training.
- PALS certification required.
- NALS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- ATLS certification required.
- H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available.
