Emergency Medicine Physician

Sound Physicians is seeking a Physician to join their emergency medicine team at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, KS. The position emphasizes collaborative care across Emergency Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Critical Care, aiming for smoother transitions and improved patient outcomes.

• Provide top-quality patient care in an 18-bed emergency department.
• The emergency department has approximately 24,000 annual visits and a 13% admission rate.
• Partner with a robust team of subspecialty professionals and utilize advanced imaging services.

• Partner with a robust team of subspecialty professionals and utilize advanced imaging services to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Lead in quality to help our hospital achieve excellence across the ED care experience.

Compensation

Shift & Schedule

• 26 hours of physician coverage in the ED with shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 20 hours of APP coverage.
• Full-time status is 120 hours.

Requirements

• Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine or board-certified in family medicine or internal medicine with emergency medicine experience.
• Final-year residents are welcome to apply for summer/fall 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• No visa sponsorship available.
