Emergency Medicine Physician

Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Site Medical Director . This position would oversee Emergency Department operations at HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital Emergency Department in Lehigh Acres, FL. Role includes monthly stipend.
SITE MEDICAL DIRECTOR ROLE:

• Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the Emergency Department
• Manage the quality improvement plan, including attending regular meetings, and review of medical records
• Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
• Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
• Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
• Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership

• Staffing Coverage: physicians 24 hours per day, APPs 22 hours per day

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• Active Florida medical license and DEA
• 24 hours Stroke CME annually
• ACLS, PALS
• Previous experience as a medical director or assistant medical director preferred, but not required
