What You ll Do

• Provide specialized pediatric emergency care in a busy hospital environment
• Rounding and managing inpatient consultations on a 34-bed pediatric floor with an average census of 24
• Collaborate with full pediatric subspecialty support and dedicated Pediatric ED team
• Participate in teaching pediatric residents and medical students, fostering educational growth
• Ensure high-quality patient care during assigned shifts, including emergency and inpatient services
• Maintain accurate case logs and comply with hospital protocols
• Contribute to a team-oriented, compassionate pediatric healthcare environment

What You Need
Required:

• Active medical license in Nevada
• DEA certification
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Minimum 1 year inpatient hospitalist experience, recent work with case logs

Preferred:

• Experience in pediatric emergency care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

This role is based at The Children s Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital, offering an enriching environment focused on pediatric inpatient and emergency care. The facility features a 34-bed pediatric floor, a 12-bed PICU, NICU, and newborn nursery managed by specialized teams. Your work will directly impact children's health and safety, with opportunities to teach and collaborate in a vibrant, community-focused setting.
