Practice Info
- Growing Emergency Medicine team of 6+ EM physicians and 7.5+ EM Advanced Practice Providers.
- Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with 21-bed ED, 6 fast track beds, and 14 ICU beds.
- Annual volume of 24,440 with 10.8% admission rate; 1.5% transfers.
- Accountable, on-site leadership with a local medical director.
- Cohesive teams aligned on a patient-first culture of excellence.
- 27 hours per day of physician coverage and 22 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.
Responsibilities
- Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation.
- Perform bedside Ultrasound.
- Utilize CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night.
Compensation
- 1099 compensation of $300/hr.
Shift & Schedule
- 9-hour shifts: 5:30 am-2:30 pm, 1:30 pm-10:30 pm, 9 pm-6 am.
- Full-time is 120 hours per month.
Requirements
- Completion of an Emergency Medicine accredited residency program is preferred with ABEM or AOBEM Board Certification/Board eligibility.
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certification with significant Emergency Medicine experience will be considered.
- Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS.
