Emergency Medicine Physician- Jackson General Hospital

Position Overview

WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician. The successful candidate will practice in the primary location of Jackson General Hospital, providing acute care services in a Level IV trauma center 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

The Jackson General Hospital Emergency Department provides acute care services for patients of all ages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. With a Level IV trauma center, adult and pediatric patients are seen for any cardiac, respiratory, trauma, or general medicine issues. The goal is to deliver quick, effective diagnosis and treatment or transport for all patients.

Qualifications

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Applicants must have completed an Emergency Medicine residency and/or a fellowship and be eligible for the American Board of Medical Specialties. Emergency Medicine Board Certification is required. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
