Emergency Medicine Physician

This facility seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Indiana to provide ongoing outpatient coverage starting ASAP. The clinician will evaluate and manage emergency presentations across all age groups during night shifts in a supportive environment. This role offers flexible scheduling with 8 to 14 night shifts available for coverage without any call responsibilities.

Practice Info

• Outpatient emergency medical services to the regional patient population in Indiana
• Established clinical protocols and appropriate resources in place to support quality emergency care delivery
• Case load/PPD: Variable
• Support staff: 2 on call, 9 other providers (have 2 full time nocturnist providers. 1 leaving)
• Patient population: All Ages

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical coverage during night shifts
• Evaluate and manage outpatient emergency presentations across all age groups
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation throughout each assigned shift
