We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum opportunity in Harlingen, Texas. This assignment offers a variety of shift options within a high-volume, Level II Trauma Center supported by APP coverage and multiple onsite specialty services.

- Emergency Department
- Level II Trauma Center
- 586-bed hospital
- Annual ED volume of approximately 49,500 visits
- Cerner EMR
Patient Volume
- Approximately 136 patient encounters per day
Support Staff
- NP/PA coverage:
- 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
- 4:00 PM 2:00 AM
- Specialty support includes:
- Cardiology
- Neurology
- Neurosurgery
- OB/GYN
- Gastroenterology
Requirements
- MD or DO
- ABEM or AOBEM certification preferred
- Board-eligible physicians will be considered
- Active Texas medical license required at presentation
- Active Texas DEA required at presentation
- ATLS required for board-eligible candidates
- PALS required for board-eligible candidates
- CSR required if applicable

- Coverage limits: $1M/$3M
Credentialing
- Cross-credentialing at multiple affiliated facilities
- Coverage opportunities may include the primary hospital, emergency centers, and micro-hospital locations
