Emergency Medicine Physician

We are looking for 2 providers to help with ED coverage at Facility. At this time, we will only review providers who will work nights. If they are strictly days then we will not be able to name clear them. Shifts will be as below (we are working on getting specific dates): 6a-2p 8a-4p 1p-11p Average number of patients in 24hrs is 110. Guaranteed Hours: 8 - OT applies after: 12 Although no OT is expected and should be pre-approved by the medical director.
Job Details & Schedule

• Urgency: Active search for two (2) additional providers to assist with ongoing ED coverage.
• Shift Times: (Specific dates pending)
• 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
• 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• 1:00 PM 11:00 PM
• Volume: Average of 110 patients per 24 hours.

Compensation & Billing Guidelines

• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per shift.
• Overtime: Applies after 12 hours (OT is unexpected and requires pre-approval by the Medical Director).

Candidate Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold an active California (CA) medical license.
• Board Certification: BC or BE within 5 years of residency. ABEM / ABEOM certified only (ABIM or ABFM backgrounds will not be accepted).
• Submission Requirement: Every presentation must include 2 3 professional references (MD's name, email, and phone number) for a reference check by the Medical Director.

Privileging & Submission Checklists To prevent delays in the name-clear and credentialing process, please ensure the following guidelines are strictly met at the time of presentation:

• Updated CV: Must include all current and past hospital affiliations.
• Clinical Activity: Requires 2 years of current clinical activity in Emergency Medicine.
• Gap Explanations: Any employment or clinical gaps greater than 3 months must be fully explained on the CV.
• Case Logs: Please include current case logs upon presentation.
